As Finance Director at Wilder City, I bring both lived experience as a Southwark resident and professional expertise in cultural finance and urban regeneration. Wilder City is a nature-led organisation working at the intersection of ecology, creativity, and community in urban spaces. Its work is distinct in its focus on creating biodiverse environments using local plants that support pollination, attract bees, and foster ecological resilience—while also acting as sites for community connection and cultural activity.

In my role, I support the Founder Director in preparing financial reports, tracking restricted funding, and establishing clear systems for record-keeping and compliance—drawing on lessons from helping to run a fast-growing charity. I also contribute strategic thinking on income diversification, exploring alternatives to grant dependency such as commissioned work, service contracts, and public-sector partnerships. My background in geography and regeneration informs Wilder City’s broader approach to embedding ecological and cultural values into sustainable models of urban change.
